I've joined a few of the recommended dropship sites via here, all good but end of the day products are from China, non-branded mobiles etc.......

Surely I may as well miss out the middle man (recommended sites) and go straight to ioffer/DHGate and dropship from there, after all thats where there coming from?!

Can anyone tell me there not? Intrigued!

If you have the capital to go straight to China and speak with suppliers, then do that.
However, I wouldn't recommend dropshipping from China. Some here do it, but there is always the risk your customer will pick up a VAT/Duty bill and it takes longer to ship.
Have a word with some of the dropshippers here and they'll tell you that UK stock is always better, especially if you're selling on eBay. People don't want to wait however many days later if they can get it from the UK.

I agree, having the stock is always better but the stock is all coming from DHgate/Ioffer though wouldnt you agree?

Personally.

Visit somewhere such as www.globalsources.com where the sellers have been verified. Of course verify them yourself as well.

You will need rather a large start up as most are at the very least 100MOQ, ranging to some that have 3k MOQ.

Edit : I have a lot of sources and suppliers avaliable in certain areas. Which maybe I can help you out with.
