Re: Bodybuilding supplement dropshipping coming soon. Interested?
Quick update:
Discussion are progressing nicely, however we've been spreading our wings and seeing if we can better deals from other suppliers also. The long & short of it is, dropshipping prices will remain pretty rigid, however wholesale orders will pretty much always recieve a good discount - which is great news.
For people to make good enough margins we will have to charge for membership. We were thinking having a 'normal' and a 'premium'. The former allowing members to dropship and buy wholesale at the dropshipping price, the latter allowing members to dropship at the dropshipping price and buy wholesale at even lower prices + we will have special deals available for 'premium' members.
As for prices, well as you know, you can never be the cheapest across all the products and this is the same here. We are comparing our proposed prices to some of the biggest supplement stores in the UK and know there is good margins. We will say now that if you are selling from your own website or via channels outside of eBay there is SERIOUS money to be made (car boots, gyms, fitness clubs etc...) - of course money will still be made on amazon and ebay but when taking into account fees its a different ball game.
Thanks

We forgot to say we WILL be limiting membership to start with. We estimate 20-30 memberships tops for the first few months as we want to make sure everything runs smoothly and we offer the best possible service. We may even limit memberships full stop to ensure we don't flood the market and ensure members continue to make £££.

Re: Bodybuilding supplement dropshipping coming soon. Interested?
This is exactly what I am looking for.
I have experience in running online stores in the health & fitness industry and have been looking into setting up a sports supplement site. The only problem has been stock, idealy I would buy as close to the manufacturing process as possible. However, this has not been easy as to negotiate fair prices you must buy in vast quantities. I do not have the facilities to hold such stock.
Let me know how this develops.

Re: Bodybuilding supplement dropshipping coming soon. Interested?
I would concentrate on the UK brands; CNP, Boditronics, PHD, Nutrisport, Reflex.
These brands are gaining an increasing share of the market over the american companies as they are now able to compete on price as well as offering superior quality.
You will obviously need your Maximuscle's (soon to be Maxifit?) in there to pull the 'weekend trainer' in, who believes these re the best products available due to their harsh marketing.

yes i completely agree, your going to need the more popular brands aswell as the uk stuff just to pull the customers in. there are probably people out there who wouldnt touch anything but the most popular brands such as maximuscle etc...
