Hi,
Have been doing a lot of research into opening one of these ready
made websites, with all the products loaded from a dropshipper.
You (as I'm sure most are aware) buy the website and off you go
selling products via dropshipping and keep the profits.
My question is does anyone know if this is profitable? The pros/cons..
does it beat selling on ebay?
Any/all advice and input would be appreciated from all.
Thanks

Depends on the dropshippers reliability, stock levels, and pricing. Ie. If you found a dropshipper that sent out orders on time, didn't constantly run out of products, and allowed you decent profit margins, then, yes, you could do very well.

I personally fear dropshippers because you lose control over many functions of your business. Unless you know the dropshipper well, be very careful.

no it not profitable it a scam really, they sell many similar website to people then what happen is most search engine would reject these website as they are all similar in content so search engine automatically assume they are scam, the best to do online is to lokk for product not provided by many online retailers get hold of physical stock if possible, slowly build your own website then add your product and dropshipping selecting those which are going to sell.remember do not try to overwork your self just go on easy pace until you have a system in place to handle big orders, then move on
please note dropshipping is new to europe so do not waste your time buying useless directories with companies who all deal in accessories product,it heavily populated market with no profit and most people dont buy them online anyway.
if you are in usa you are lucky there dropshipping market is quite big and dedicated with different compnaies dealing in different products, the best company to offer you complete list whiuch is updated regurlaly is called world wide brands just type that name in google it would be on top
they have almost complete list of dropshippers wholesalers in usa so check them out, good luck

Dropshipping works...however I would not recommend buying a pre made website that basically blanket sells all available product. Dropshipping, to be profitable, needs a focused effort and sticking with one/two products will allow this and also mean a focused sales campaign via whatever means you find fit (Ebay etc)..

Also remember your website will be competing with the thousands of others that look the same, sell the same products and are set the same as your (meta setup etc), unless you are code savvy enough to change it in which case you wouldn't need to buy one.

I also recommend worldwide brands as a dropshipper (US based), they are certified by Ebay and have been one of the most consistent outfits since the dropshipping concept developed. I have personally used them, like all my recommendations they are based on fact..
