Well guys it’s finally here, we are finally offering dropshipping form the bigheadedcow.com website.

We have only just recently set the website up and have already taken some orders and it has been decided that we are going to integrate dropshipping directly into our website by reducing our current prices.

Please note that we are not just dropshipping but you can buy from us at wholesale in big amounts via our email at bigheadedcow@googlemail.com or by selecting the largest amount of orders when using the website.

You can also use us for your own personal retail use. if you spot something that you like then simply purchase it off of us no questions asked.

People normally request a fee for the dropshipping but we are bigheadedcow.com believe that everyone should have the opportunity to get involved in drop shipping free of charge (well except for the cost of the items) so the website is free to have access to.

As the site is still relatively small we do not yet have all of our products added to it and we will be hopefully adding more items on a daily basis.

How does this work then, how do we dropship of you, also if you dont charge a fee couldnt people just dropship the game to themselves at a cheaper price? lol

So hold on is the price the same on the item, whether its dropshipped or not?

Dont wanna sound like a funny duddy but are you sure these are the drop ship prices?

I had a look at uncharted 2 and its £39.99 on your site, while ASDA do it for £39.71

Yes they could dropship the game to themselves at the cheaper price but this is not very likley to happen as we do not inted to promote the website for retail purchases.

This was a decision we made today as we felt there was a strong field of competition already in the retail m,arket but belived that not only could we offer a decent dropshipping service but there was a gap in the market due to the recent happenings with gamejelley.

Our prices are set up for the dropshipping and we will be amending them everyday when it comes to checking our suppliers prices.

If you guys think a seperate dropshipping service should be provided then say adn i will se what i can do but i am very limited for time at the minute. But i will try my best

yeah i know that the some of the prices are not quite right yet, but its just a flavour of things that we have to come , will be finding a better supplier for it tonight and will be reducing the prices.

Do you hold stock for all these products?

I'm asking cause you say "everyday when it comes to checking our suppliers prices", why would checking them everyday change your resale price, wouldn't it be every time you make a new wholesale order?

Or are you a "middle-man"?

Yes we do currentley hold stock for some items but not all at this current moment in time. This is why we have set our delivery date for anytime up to 14 days. This is due to the fact that we are still a new company and we do not currentley have the funds to order a large supply of products.

We are close to securing some funding though from a business that i have worked on previously and this will aloow for us to order in all the items we have to offer on the website so that the delivery time is significantley less.

Thats why we offer you the option on checkout if you want the product sent directley from our suppliers or from us, if you choose for a direct shipment then the delivery time will be under 7 days, this is the aim that we have set ourself for sending from our supplies but like i said we may have to order the product in as our stock supply is a little bit limited at the moment.

Will your suppliers send it out in plain packaging?

14 Days delivery is way to long. If people are selling on ebay this will ruin peoples DSR and damage their business long term. If you have read GJ thread then you should know this.

Can you not get next day delivery from your supplier? most suppliers (that I buy from anyway) offer next day delivery? Even if you have to pay extra it will be worth it.

Bigheadedcow, what cart are you using?
you may be able to set up user groups.
so theres retail prices, wholesale prices and dropship prices all on the same site but you get to choose which registered users get to see which prices.

Say on the website somebody registers and sees a game for £40 - this would be retail
however if you decided to add that user into a wholesale or dropship user group they would see an entirely different price.

Just an idea
