Advice Needed on my Dropship/ Retail website

Hi guys,

Just need a bit of guidance on my site when ready, a few weeks I hope. I will be registering here a a Sponsor when ready. My problem is how easy is it to offer retail and dropship in the same site?

I will be 95% selling DVD's & Blu-ray's with games coming later on, my problem being each dvd/blu-ray has a unique rrp, how would I go about offering a discount on the dropship side from the retail side. I have thought about doing a % difference at checkout but the problem is the price of each dvd is different.

Obviously when a user registers for a account, they will select Individual or Business account (business being dropship). Any help appriciated in this problem is more than welcome.

Hi John - most decent shopping carts allow you to setup a group of users and offer them a discount

Depends on your shopping cart, James. Many do have a customer groups sort of setting. Some have an entirely different field for wholesale prices in the item listings. Your cart documentation or forum can tell you what's available. If you don't have that feature, I can supply a cart that does.
