Email acceptance isn't 24/7 either, sure you can submit but if they do not start processing until they arrive at 9am (for example) and all orders are queued then this can add time to the order turnaround. However, most mainstream dropshippers do offer 24/7 so I may reword it..

I dont know many dropshippers that are 24/7 though.no wholesalers i know in the UK stay open 24/7 unless they are run my robots. and most say if orders are in by a fixed time they will get orders out same day.

Re: Selecting a Dropshipper - 12 Step Selection Criteria
i read the report and it is interesting but also sound abit much. No doubt you do have to check that the website or company is legit and if they were they would have a vat number and be registered (UK that is) and yes customer testimonials are good and yes you dont want posting to take 2-3 weeks to reach end buyer....
BUT people reading the report must understand that yes sure you have got to make margins too, but dont be expecting to make £20-30-50-or whatever you want to make using drop ship service, because it wont happen, especially if your looking into branded goods! If you want those margins then you really have to look at wholesale and buy in quantities.
im sure that people are under the impression that all they need to find it a good, cheap dropshipper which sell all branded stuff where they can list everything on ebay and make some large amount per unit and then be millionaires! the reality is far from it otherwise everyone would be millionaires!

Re: Selecting a Dropshipper - 12 Step Selection Criteria
good reading, very informative however i am still in the dark about where to actually find some decent dropshippers. Also would you advise that you have your own website or use auction sites when dropshipping?
thanks

i tend to agree that a major factor is competing against other sellers on eBay, which to do so, you are working with very small margins

Re: Selecting a Dropshipper - 12 Step Selection Criteria
Hi, I have just read your excellent post.
I was dropshipping but stopped. Nothing to do with the firm I was dropshipping with. Was due to margins being that tight.
Regards
Martin

Re: Selecting a Dropshipper - 12 Step Selection Criteria
Does anyone know of legit dropshippers? I've also been scammed by a middleman... and they had fake Ts and Cs for before you sign up and then sent a different set after I'd already paid!
