hi all, i have a couple of questions i need to ask, appreciate if u guys can help me out

if i have dropshippers from both asia and uk and even usa, what do u usually put ur ebay location as? i have a feeling that part of my audiences knowing im not from the usa (for example), they will not buy my products and thus go to an american supplier, even whe i have a drooshhipper from usa, i dont want to lose out on such customers.. mainly because usa is such a big market

secondly, if my dropshippers sent the customer the item stating address is somewhere in asia but i have already stated im from the uk etc.....how will that affect me and how will it made me look? i know it sounds stupid but i am worried

im a new business owner, so im really bad at this, appreciate all the help i can get!

any advise for this?

if you were the dropshipper then you had better cover all your suppplier's information including company's name, location, brand etc.. from your customers, do not let your customers know any details about your supplier then it's ok, As far as i know. doing dropshipping then the drop ship country should be the same...

I would list it as your own location.

I would say this for 2 main reasons reasons.

1. Payment methods you accept. Alot of USA buyers may want to pay with Money Orders, which is ok for the US, but can be tricky in UK Banks. Do you really want to be having cheques in dollars, when they are a pain at the banks? Maybe for larger businesses this is ok, but not small businesses.

2. Whats your returns policy? Do the items get returned to you or your supplier? If its you, then the customer needs to know to send the items back to the UK.

When the dropshipper attaches a postage label, the buyer will know where the item has come from, unless everything comes to you and you then send it out again. Make sure your buyers know that the item is being shipped from overseas, and there will be a delivery delay due to this. Also, have you concidered the customs implications? Who pays any import duty etc?

I don't think most customers mind where an item comes form, as long as it comes and is of the standard expected. I ordered a laptop charger from a buyer registered in China last week. It came next day, posted in Devon UK. I don't mind, I got the charger, and it works!
