Hi all,

A friend of mine is moving into the area of clothing wholesaling and dropshipping and thought I would ask the forum if it is just branded clothing that they are interested in..the reason being is because he is thinking of dealing in non branded clothing like you see in the high street retail shops.

For example, he has been looking at a certain supplier that can supply the 'gypsy skirts' that are all the rage (so I am told ) for £2 (inc. p&p) a unit and they currently retail at £15-£20 a pop. The supplier is confirmed and he is just doing some research into the marketplace etc.

Is there a market out there for non branded clothing like this, it may be that he just wholesales to traders but the dropshipping idea he likes (I am already working on the site). He will not be operational for a while yet but want to see what the response from the forum is like..

I have been looking for this type of clothing for ages now without avail so I would definiteley be interested in buying wholesale I also know that there was someone else asking on our forum the other day for sexy fashion dresses if these were available also.

I am looking for gents clothing dropshippers, mainly latest fashions and fashionable brands i.e. armani, hugo boss, calvin klein etc from suits to watches...

I think maybe you can find sth in China , but you need a sourcing agent to help you source these clothes .

There definitely will be a marketplace for this type of stuff - providing your frined has access to decent quantities, decent quality and provides a good service. Providing these things are gone about in the correct way, there is no reason why he cannot sell them.

Let me know when he gets it all up and running and I will let a few contacts I have know - they might well be interested.
