I will try and clear things up for you. Up until a few months ago I traded full time on the internet, part time selling advertising on the directory and part time selling mobile phones. I have made in the past £1500 in a month from selling advertising alone. However, this has dropped now that I don't do my trading full time on the internet. I spend most of my time now working freelance as not only do I enjoy working with the local businesses the income is good too.

I think it is prudent to say that the website for sale is a nice looking website and what you see is what you get, however, the income from it is not stable and therefore any buyer will need to consider other sources of income until they can get the site going with more SEO and links to direct better traffic levels and in turn better income from it.

Adam you are full of it.

If anyone buys this website they need there head testing as you are hiding something serious.

£1500, £100, £500, Part time, Full time, Mobile sales, Not mobile sales. I have checked out your new website and you claim to do SEO work but you cannot get a sustainable income from a directory site ????

Last time you had it on eBay you sold it for £560 which it met it's reserve but did not sell ??? You did not relist ???

What you did was post it on the forum and offerd people free advertising so that it would become "known" on the forum hoping that when you sold it you would get more money as people would belive it was a good site as everyone had heard of it and people from here advertisied on it.

This is the 3rd time i have seen this directory up for sale (twice here and once on another site) since January 2009.

Selling your site poses no problem to me and i have no issues wit you BUT

When you set out to deceive people into beliving your site is worth more than what it is and then skirt around questions, Lie about money taken and genrally not remember about what you say from one minute to the next then i will take offence.

I think you are still confused and you are confusing other people. All I am selling is the website. I don't claim to say that you will earn X amount from it per month. I have stated what I have made when working full time on the internet selling various products including electronics. The income from the directory is now low, but as stated before you only get paid from it by putting in time and selling advertising to businesses. More time needs to be spent on marketing and SEO.

This is only the second time I have sold the site, not the third.

Kind Regards
Adam

I am not confused i know exactly who you are.

The other for sale thread on another forum was deleted (i wonder why) But at the time you were going under the name of ADCAS Ltd. and website www.stickyhoneypot.co.uk. But is now showing under .com.

I wish you good luck into the sale of your site but i would warn people to check out every inch before purchasing.

Yes, it may appear confusing, but people do like to make assumptions without knowing all the facts. I did own stickyhoneypot.co.uk - however, the web designer who I used went under and didn't give me the files to the site so this site is no longer live. But for some reason stickyhoneypot.com is still live through Fast Hosts and I have asked them to close it down on several occasions. They have said to me that the web designer’s account has been suspended and it will be deleted in due course. Not sure when though.

I did run the company ADCAS Ltd, but when I decided to go freelance I closed this down. I now just work on a freelance self employed level. Majority of these changes have been forced upon by the recession affecting my business and the businesses of people I work with including the web designer.

This is all irrelevant as I am only selling a website. Any income from the website will be made through hard work just like any other website/business. I will of course be on hand to help the new buyer with any questions to get them going.

Wrong

Directory site was for sale without the logo. We had a BIG discussion over the limited company and sales back then which again was aload of hot air.

If you really want me to i can contact the site administrator and ask them to retrive it.

I have had a search ut all i can find is them telling you off for shill posting about your own site (which kind of sums it up)

Stickyhoneypot.co.uk was sold without the logo in February!!!

Hence why the logo is different on the website - http://stickyhoneypot.com - How more clear can it be - As I said people make assumptions with knowing all the facts. Fasthosts have confirmed to me that the site will be deleted as the web designers account has been suspended by them.

If you want to ask for the thread to be retrieved you have my permission, but I would save yourself the embarrassment as you have got it wrong again.

I would prefer if we could revert to the reason why this thread was posted and that was to sell the website. I posted it in the marketplace as I have an advertising membership, it is as simple as that. I am not trying to scam anyone of anything. I am selling a simple website with the opportunity of the buyer making some income from it from hard work.
