Re: WEBSITE FOR SALE - www.stickyhoneypotdirectory.co.uk
I am not asking anything untoward but for you to explain how you can make the figures mentioned. It is totally legimate questions as YOU made the claims of income from the site not me !!!!
If you advertised stick honey pot as a site and not a business with no turover then it would be a diffrent kettle of fish. Your answers are sketchy with the iclanation that people will make £100 - £500 per month allthough a few months ago it was £1500 a month PART TIME.
I am intrested in buying the site but am struggling to work out how much turnover you actually have per month and what is or is not linked to the site.
Every question i have asked you have denied or changed the answer on sevral occasions.
Until you are straight and honest how can anyone put a value on the site ????

Re: WEBSITE FOR SALE - www.stickyhoneypotdirectory.co.uk
I have already answered the majority of these questions, so don't wish to repeat myself. The website is merely a tool. The income generated has been off my own back from hard work. The more you contact businesses to sell advertising the more chance you have of making money. The higher figures are from when I had more time to do the marketing, however, the lower figures of late are due to the fact that the advertising fees are lower because of the recession and due to less time that I have had to put into the website marketing.
In regards to value, I appreciate that we are in a recession and the website does not have a stable income. So therefore it is like buying a house, buyers will pay what they are willing to pay. The website is up for auction on eBay and if you get more than a few people interested then the auction price could rise, but I am open minded to price and will lower the reserve if required.
I have made it clear on several occasions that is the website for sale and not a business, hence why the title of the thread is Website For Sale. Any income made will be made from hard work and the website is a good tool to help you achieve this.

Re: WEBSITE FOR SALE - www.stickyhoneypotdirectory.co.uk
Hi Adam,
With regards to the site, "it's a nice looking site" doesn't really cut it when making a sale! Do you have a spreadsheet of earnings over the past 6 months and traffic figures? Google Analytics user accounts that you can give interested parties access to?
I wish you the best of luck with the eBay auction, but if it doesn't work out can you drop me a PM and I'll consider taking the domain IF you can explain the backlinks situation. Are they paid placements on violetpleasure.co.uk, premiermobileshop.co.uk etc?

Re: WEBSITE FOR SALE - www.stickyhoneypotdirectory.co.uk
Hi Ed
Thanks for your questions. As the recent income from the website is also included in my freelance self employed spreadsheet I would rather not publish these details public.
The Google Reports unfortunately are with my web designer who has closed his business recently. I pestered him for months for him to send me reports of traffic, but he wasn't very unreliable. I was lucky that I managed to get the files of the site onto my own hosting account. During this time I never setup a new Google report myself. However, looking back at my emails it looks like I have had around 50 new registered users to the site in the last month so I hope that helps with regards to traffic.
As mentioned before marketing and SEO will be key to get this site going again. The back links on other sites are all free. I have set up a demo account for potential buyers to view the site in more detail. This will be deleted once a buyer is found.

Hence why the logo is different on the website - http://stickyhoneypot.com - How more clear can it be - As I said people make assumptions with knowing all the facts. Fasthosts have confirmed to me that the site will be deleted as the web designers account has been suspended by them.
If you want to ask for the thread to be retrieved you have my permission, but I would save yourself the embarrassment as you have got it wrong again.
I would prefer if we could revert to the reason why this thread was posted and that was to sell the website. I posted it in the marketplace as I have an advertising membership, it is as simple as that. I am not trying to scam anyone of anything. I am selling a simple website with the opportunity of the buyer making some income from it from hard work.

So whats for sale .co.uk or .com because eBay says .co.uk???????????

Re: WEBSITE FOR SALE - www.stickyhoneypotdirectory.co.uk
From how I seem to understand it, stickyhoneypot.co.uk was gone earlier in the year, after the designer disappeared with the files, stickyhoneypot.com is no longer in use but it hasn't been removed yet.
However, it is NOT either of those which are for sale here (or ebay), what IS for sale is stickyhoneypotdirectory.co.uk, which is a seperate site/venture altogether.
The stickyhoneypot.co.uk which is gone, was his consumer electrics site, the stickyhoneypotdirectory.co.uk is a seperate directory site, which is now for sale.
Adam, please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, though I do believe I understand it correctly and do not get what is so hard to understand

Re: WEBSITE FOR SALE - www.stickyhoneypotdirectory.co.uk
That's correct - It is just the stickyhoneypotdirectory.co.uk website that is for sale as per the eBay auction.
The electronics site is all history now. If anyone is interested please don't hesitate to email me for more details or bid on the auction.
Kind Regards
Adam
