Default WEBSITE FOR SALE - www.stickyhoneypotdirectory.co.uk

WEBSITE FOR SALE - www.stickyhoneypotdirectory.co.uk

EBAY AUCTION - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...#ht_500wt_1182

This website is one year old and was custom made. It is a subscription website which helps buyers and sellers come together. There are already hundreds of customers signed up to the website with many suppliers already advertising on the website.

It has the following features already built in – About us tab, registration tab (You have to register before you can gain access to the directory), Subscription tab, FAQ’s tab, contact us tab, you can add as many categories to the directory as you need, it has a scrolling new member section to the top of the website, it has a scrolling banner section in the main page of the directory, it has an advanced search box, customers can update their company profiles, logos, product images, contact details and have direct website links, customers can also edit category details which they want to advertise in and add keywords for search engines, it has a built in email marketing system, the email marketing system can be customised to target specific types of customers or markets and you can update the subscription prices at any stage using the admin panel.
The website cost 3k to design and build. We have a low reserve of just £500 on this auction, however, I will be negotiable on this if the auction falls short of the reserve price.

I will transfer the domain name into your own account which will be free if you sign up an account with 123-reg. We have hosting on the website until the end of this year and then I can help get the files transferred to your own account. I currently use Go Daddy which is very cheap! As the website was custom made you can get any programmer to make changes to the site if you want to upgrade areas. I can also help with this too!
The reason I am selling the website is that I now work freelance for local businesses in my area and this business has become very busy for me. The website needs more time than I can give it and the new owner will need to spend time on marketing and customer service to ensure it grows. I will provide an official invoice as a proof of purchase and would prefer payment by bank transfer if possible otherwise PayPal will be fine. Happy Bidding and please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any further questions!

Good luck with the sale. If I were you though I'd edit the ebay description in a HTML editor so it doesn't look all bunched up in one paragraph.

Thanks for your kind words Tracy!

Thanks for the HTML advice too, I will have a look at that when I get a minute.

Yes, I advertise on here. It was up for sale before a few months back and I did get a very good offer, but felt I didn't want to let the website go as I could see the potential. However, I will definetly sell this time as I really don't have the time to give the site it needs for marketing and customer service.

My freelance work has worked out well for me and I continue to get more new clients which limits the time I can put into the website.

Regards Adam

I would make it your first priority to sort your listing out mate, it does look awful and will not help your cause to getting a good sale. It just does not look professional enough considering the product you are selling, in fact the product you are selling looks out of place in that listing the way it stands. I would be dubious about bidding even if I liked the product.

All the best in getting a good price though.

Agreed....The website itself looks good but the listing just dosen't do it justice. It would be woth revising it IMO.

Good luck with the sale.

A bit of constructive criticism - you don't mention how much revenue the site brings in monthly or subscription rates/no of subscribers so that potential buyers can ascertain whether the site is worth buying. Hope you don't mind my comments but if the site is profitable you should be shouting it from the rooftops!
