Default Great post Ollie

Good post Ollie

A recommendation I would give to anyone looking at SEO is IBP. http://www.axandra-web-site-promotio...n-features.htm

Internet Business Promoter doesn't just do the work for you, it teaches you how your site works and what search engines need. You run the software on your site, give it keywords you want to optimise for, and it gives you step by steps on the changes you need to make. It also has a load of site tools to keep you occupied...

One cautionary note : Be wary of the automated software out there, that creates landing pages, or implants crap on your page as the techniques they use are often banned by search engines like Google.

By the way, I used to be Web Development Manager for Leicester on the Web, Sheffield on the Web and Doncaster on the Web, and have been a designer for 6 years, so I'm not just posting a link to a site I found, honest
