Questions about selling online
hi im currently selling over ebay have a shop ect,
1. but with the volum of sales its very time consuming when writing every address out by hand, and on some nights it can be over 25 address.
is there any special paper designed for ebay paypal so i can print straght off ect.
2. is there a way to make ebay list items automatically so say every 3 days it lists these items ect.
3. and lastly how does the VAT tax work with ebay, is it illigal to not be a registered company and sell high volum on ebay?
4.also do lots think making a website would be worfit for my kind product.
if anyone would like to views the shop its http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Mediterrane...ion-Enterprise
thanks for the help

1) when i used o sell on ebay i just copy and pasted the addressses in to a word document with my company logo and then cut them out and stuck them on the envelope
2) try www.marketworks-uk.co.uk/ebay-auction-software.asp and ebay turbo lister
3)i think you have to sell over £68000 a year to have tobe vat registred and that counts for ebay as well
4)i wouldnt bother making a website for your types of products as many people will just look on ebay rather than looking for a website
hope this helps

A website is never a bad idea, its all about multiple streams of income. I know it is unlikely but what happens if Ebay collapses, get DDOS'd and is down, you get banned...etc etc

1) I use document enclosed labels. Print of the A4 invoice, fold it, quick and easy
2) Not from what I know, Turbo lister may have a tool on it.
3) You have to be earning £61,000 before you have to pay/charge VAT
4) It can do but its not worth it unless your very good at marketing/seo. eBay has millions of users so I would stick in eBay

Why not try www.auctiva.com you can create a listing, schedule it to start whenever you like, and they host multiple pictures for free.
As far as printing labels on My eBay's sold page, after my item has sold on the right side there is a link to print shipping label. I don't know how it works in the UK but in the US the postage is taken directly from Paypal and when I use Priority Mail delivery confirmation is free

Do not confuse the VAT threshold with registering a company, they are two completely different things.
You can set up and register a company with zero turnover.
Edit: According the the HMRC website the threshold for compulsory VAT registration is still at £61,000.
