Tried listing a few auction yesterday to sell PS3 in the UK as the price is higher there then in the states and Ebay cancelled all my listing... now I understand that it's not allowed to sell in the UK until it's released there but how in the world do other people from Hong Kong or within UK are selling PS3. Yesterday I did a keyword search "Playstation 3" and all these auctions poped up. Don't know what is going on.. anybody know way to list it..
There isn't. Ebay will remove all auctions where they are being sold in the UK market before the release date as for other's being able to get round it I don't know, best off asking them how they do it.
hmmm.. good question i was about to ask the same. Do you have to list through ebay.com...? Or is it pot luck as to if you get through the net selling one...or maybe item location should be HK or USA? Anyone selling them with any ideas?
I think the only way to do it so to either be in the UK and get away with it or have it listed from some third world country with thier IP and eveyrhting.. and I am not about to risk my ebay account with proxies and all that.

alot of people get round it by mispelling the title name on purpose i.e on the 360 insted of using a zero they use a capital O etc...so i.e XBOX 36O ----- 0
TSXL is right, listings are brought down by people reporting them, this can be the complany itself or a representative. What some people do is list for one day and hope to get away with it, also some of the listings you see will also be pulled down later, only to be replaced by another 5 minutes later, its a game of cat and mouse at times.
I just brought a load of PS3 Controllers, Games, Cables etc. does anyone know what rules eBay has towards selling them. I have seen a few sellers listing them on the UK site but most just list on the US one and seem to be ok. The last thing I want to do is get suspended so can anyone shed some light.
