For myself I find PayPal very good. I haven't had a single incident where PayPal has frozen my account or taken money away etc. It's all done to luck in my opinion.

neither me no problem at all, but the cost compare to other providers and the charge back and freezing people accounts, is their living!!
why ebay wont allow google checkout it's pure interest protection since ebay and paypal are sister.

why freezing people's accounts for a six month for charge back since buyer only has got 2months to request that as if it's not enough time.

As this topic, I would like to ask, if WorldPay compared with PayPal, how about the seller protection about chargeback if there is sufficient evidence that the seller had really shipped the product to the buyer? Is there anyone can give the comment? Thanks a lot in advance.

Since I am not from UK, nochex and pppay I also cannot use.

WorldPay hold your money for a maximum of 4 weeks so if a customer makes a chargeback then I sure WorldPay give that money back...not sure though.

It sure is. For example i note you sell Jap PS3's. Well if you were offering those before the UK PS3 came out that was grounds for Paypal banning accounts!

Also just found out that as of Friday 13th Google are now offering their checkout service in the UK.

That's got to be worth a look instead of Paypal.

**Edit** Just seen though that you must be VAT registered to become a merchant which surely will remove alot of the Payapl market.

If you can prove your were selling authentic goods then a solicitors/lawyers letter sent to paypal might be an option. From what I have heard, PayPal take the threat of court action or any involvement of the police very seriously and it shows you are willing to prove your innocence.

If you were selling fakes however, your money is probably going to sit in PayPal for a long time.

Hope that helps

Dave
