Default A great site to sell products not ebay!

Hi
I would like to know if anyone knows a great site where you can get more profit and more understanding buyers.
I am fed up with threats of neg feedback with me doing nothing wrong!
Any help appreciated.

I have the perfect site! Your own website!!!!!!

Unfortuneately, Ebay has a stranglehold on auction traffic.

You may want to try classified sites.

Let them give a negative and move on, the majority of Ebayers are good people and that will come across in the feedback as opposed to teh idiots that run about. Only ever leave feedback once it has been left for you (ie. customer is happy with the transaction) as this also helps in the anti neg battle...

Matt, Many guys here have had me set up an online store for them. Some tell me they are making sales in just a day or two. For others, it's probably a struggle to get noticed.

golf just had 329,000,000 pages come up on google, so golf balls might not be a good item to start with. But, you can have your own shop for not a lot of money and you can get ti to where you are getting some right good traffic.

Of course, as many here will tell you, having the online store and selling on ebay at the same time will help get folks to your store, as well.

I can hook you up with your own online shop for a total cost of about $ 50 per year, including the shopping cart and the hosting. Cheap rent, eh? Your only other cost would be your paypal fees, which you paying already.

Hi Matt,

I also thought I wasn't ready to set up my own store but I did and altogether it cost around £20-30. It is just a modded Zen Cart, if you put time into it then you will get a good result.

I opened then within 2 weeks I had 6 customers, now to many on here that isn't very much but I was impressed with how quickly I got the sales and best of all no FVF!

You can also charge more on your website and for the amount it costs I think it is worth it!

Start you own webshop (this can be done for free!), use eBay but use your ebay adverts to drive customers to your website, also offer all people that purchase from you on ebay a "reason" to purchase from your webshop (I offer them a 10% discount valid for 1 month).

Next find a magazine that talks about the items you are selling, and run a proze draw in it, what you get is 1000's of people taking part 9You get loads of email address's) and have to give away 1 x item. You then send out a discount to all the people that didn't win, giving them the chance to purchase the item they didn't win, at a discount.

And then......

Repeat - it works for me!

regards
