should you buy off ebay and then resell it back on ebay to make money? greedyboy claims ebay won't make me a lot of money on my return. if that's true what's the best way to make money from wholesale on the internet? ONLINE STORE, EBAY, REAL LIFE BRICK STORE, that's all I could come up with, what are some other ways to sell wholesale items and make the most profit on it.

Greedyboy doesn't claim it won't make you a lot of money! I never said that. Please read what I typed before jumping to the wrong conclusions.

Greedyboy said you will not make a lot of money selling branded electrical items on ebay.

welll.... ebay will make you money on the right products..

Why not identify a product or service you can specialise in and enjoy selling?

Find that product/products and research how much they sell for or what is the going rate? (Retail, Ebayetc)

Search for suppliers in your specific product such as wholesalers buy a set minimum quantity based on your research and see how they sell?

Once you've identidied something you have say a pashion to sell or a product in the market that maybe less competitive .. aquire those products by wholesale if possible and test the market. This way you will know wot works for you and what does't. You will also find out how much money you would need to spend to buy goods in order to re-sell and make profit.

You can sell on Ebay, Amazon, Play .. your wesbite , friends etc The choices are wide.

P.s experieced sellers tell me if this makes sense and im not talking utter crap

Everyone is limiting themselves to online activities. If I have a new product being sold in to retail, it's the traditional methods that work best for new business.

Telephone calls, send samples, information packs, brochures, face-to-face demos/meetings. You then hopefully walk out with an order and a new customer there and then or at some stage later.

The world does not revolve around selling online.

100% true but being able to sell online is a gift to most. It's easier for people to handle but at the same time it can be very frustrating when dealing with fraud. Selling both offline and online work together and can obviously increase sales. I personally prefer selling online. Each have their ups and downs.

The poster is talking about selling wholesale not to end consumers? Or is he just getting the work 'wholesale' mixed up?
