Any idea's?
Hi there, im not exactly new to selling things on eBay but at the minute im finding it hard to find things that are decent to sell on the site.
Have you got any idea's of what i could buy and sell on for a decent profit?
In the past i have been selling Nike trainers but theres now so many of them going for daft prices...
Im only looking to spend £200-£300 to get started.
Please move if ive posted in the wrong section!
Any help appreciated.

David,
I am sure that you are a well seasoned trader, but 2 out of your 3 posts have been a bit cocky.
This forum is for people to asks these questions.
If you have nothing constructive to say, best you rest your fingers!

Consultant, That is a fair statment.
However, I have been reading the forum for sometime and more than often people want everything for free and not willing to work for it. Will try and be a bit more constuctive,
Regards Dave

On that budget, I have one piece of advice for you. Stay away from branded items! Look for small, unbranded items, from China perhaps to get you started. Then build your way up.
Take a look at Global Sources Direct, they have some profitable products to get you started.
Have a read of the content on these forums, they are sure to help you get going.
Good luck!

Hi
Log onto ebay and look at whats selling with-in the price range you are working too.
1000's and 1000's of products are selling so not that hard tbh.
Good luck
Andy

One of the big questions is do you go for a few higher value items or lots of smaller value items - as Mrsweet has suggeted look for something in your price range, stay away from the branded stuff initially as a lot of scams are about with that sort of stuff.

Global Sources or Made-in-china.com or similar sites might give you an idea for something that you could sell.
I browse those sites and draw up a short list of items I am interested in then do some more fundemental research in to is anyone else selling them, would I make a profit on the item, what is the demand etc.

If you want a new line to move down, have a look at http://www.thatchreed.co.uk/ they have a min spend of £250.00 + Vat, and they sell loads of camping, walking, outdoors stuff, as well as military items.
Look at eBay see what sells well in the areas you are looking at, and go for it?
To give you an idea, when I first started I was buying this item http://www.thatchreed.co.uk/index.ph...productId=1310 at around the £7.50 mark and selling it on ebay at around £15.00 + delivery.
There you go....... Thats my help and give away information for this month
