Ebays New Feedback System: How is it for you
Well it has started now I think. I have been glancing through numerous
sellers feedback on ebay and I have seen good sellers FB reduced by
0.5 -1% by unjustified negs & neutrals. It's scandalous that you can have small seller who has say 400 positive FB and then get 2 unjustified negs
and get suspended if they fall behind the required seller rating. In terms of getting negative FB it depends on what catagory you sell in for people who sell stuff to chavs I would be worried.
But the thing is no matter how good your company is, no matter how good the service in whatever selling catagory wether your selling ipods or £1 slippers, you will come across a crazy customer or a NPB or a difficult person.
All you need are a couple of these and if you are a small seller trying to work your way up your in trouble.
I think everyone should just provide the best service they can to alleviate any potential damage and keep thier fingers crossed and make sure they have other income stream O/S ebay.
So Iam curious to know if anyone has had any bad experience with these new FB changes

Agree with Gboy, way too early too tell, but we have noticed a change in tone regards peoples emails... they seem to be talking too us like dirt.... but could be a few oneoffs.
Think if you do a good job you should be ok, as before idots would leave nehs regardless, so makes little difference.
On a POS side it will kill off poor traders giving us good ones more work :-)

Still way too early to tell - I havent noticed any change in the tone of the mails from customers - they are still polite.
As MrSweet pointed out there will still be the idiots that leave negs regardless of what happens.

Polite? What.... all of them?
I no longer sell on eBay so I can't comment, but its inevitable that feedback ratings will suffer. I imagine the new shift of a good seller will go from 100-99% positive to more like 98-96% positives as buyers take advantage of the new unfair feedback ruling.

Since the change had three people try feedback blackmail, and one person really mucking me around regarding collecting returns at my cost when they have changed their mind, 1st delivery damaged according to themselves, replaced and now they do not believe the quality is good enough.
All people are leading on for discounts, free postage etc, so at this rate I expect my account will get closed sharpish on ebay, currenly at 99%, fell from 99.5% witht he change.
We all know it is going to happen since kids are talking about doing such scams on various forums, after all we are all very wealthy traders who can afford to give things away for free.
Really pushing non ebay sales even harder now, the writing looks like it's on the wall unless ebay change things again.
A bigger concern appears to be the sporadic changes in traffic to listings, one week can be incredibly busy, next week struggle to give things away.

It is something you can not control so I'm personally not that bothered. As long as I make money that's my concern.
This says it all
http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAP...d=160241836761
Ebays largest seller by far and now at 98% and will drop to 97% when the chages take place. Do you think they give a toss?
