What is the purpose of linking your paypal account with your Ebay account?
I have noticed some sellers require this in order for you to buy from them. Is it just to verify the buyers address is the same on both accounts?
I currently do not have my accounts linked. Should I consider this? Does it really matter if they are not linked? When you get paid with paypal you just ship to their paypal address anyways
At a very basic level, its a security measure to try and stop fraudulent purchases.
By keeping both PayPal and eBay accounts the same it gives a greater chance of the buyer being a legitimate purchaser, rather than one with hidden a hidden agenda.
Depending on the products you trade, it may be worth implementing this in your own operation. Its a step in the right direction in terms of security for yourself.
