Not handouts my friend nothing wrong with providing for your childrens future. As for some beneficial goodness to the planet, well if we want to start talking figures I could boast about how much I have given as my previous company had a rather large non profit client and a percentage of our salary, bonus and any commission went to the charity (obviously we had to agree to it) and without sounding like a total ***** (probably will though) it was probably 10x (maybe 15 who knows) more in 8 years than the average person would in a whole lifetime.....course as you say each to their own.

Save the planet, isnt that what Brown, Bush, Sarkozy, and the rest of these idiots are in power for (apart from a few other things of course), but what do they do bow down to multinationals, *** all of our tax money up the wall, on umpteen idiotic things, so why in hell should I contribute to the planet and not my kids.

If I could leave my kids without a mortgage to worry about, a bit of cash in the bank ect, why the hell not, because I want to provide what I never had, and above all I dont want them to go through the bull**** I have had to go through.

You could always join greenpeace, and help them pursue others who kills sharks, whales, ect ect, oh but I do like my shark soup, so on the other hand dont bother.

Right guys, this discussion seems to be going a bit off-topic now. Lets remember what this thread is actually about.
