I replied with clear explanations that it simply CAN'T be empty. But as I'm orientated on 100% customer satisfaction, I offered full refund + postage costs, asking to send movie back.

Still waiting for a reply. 99% I won't hear back from him. There are people out there who just "try their luck" - you know - maybe a seller is so dumb or in fair of feedback that will issue a straight refund.

This is getting silly

quite simple, dont even think about the feedback system anymore, if you really need the fedback system dont trade on ebay becuase you have just given the simplest explantion as that you can do as much and what ever you can to make them happy , and yet they are simple out there to be akward etc.

the fedback system on ebay means nothign these days so dont worry about it.

I think you will find that is totally incorrect. If you receive less that 95% positives toy will be suspended for 30 days!!!

Also effects any PS discounts..

Also we like to run a good bussiness, these cretins are trying to stop this.

Expample

Buyer - Where is my stuff

Us - Hi etc, Rm take 1-3 working days to deliver etc, when it leaves here we have no control etc, let us know if it does not show

Buyer - So you are not taking responsiblty for this??? right Neg and email to ebay..

Us - Hi etc, No you have read that wrong, we will send another item FREE if it does not show etc etc etc... when we say out of control we mean we dont run RM et etc

Buyer - So you did not send it.... I hate people like you on ebay etc etc who lie about sending an item etc etc etc

Us - Hi etc, yes item sent, if two turn up please let us know etc etc. also add he has left 8 Negs over the last two week..

Buyer - Thanks for pointing this out, I'll be adding you to that list also

It goes on and on

So he is using a threat and fingers crossed we might have ebay on our side

Some people have zero respect, OK fair enough item has not shown up, but saying i lie and also making threats is very insulting, I might ring him.

My client has just emailed that she has not received a reply to her last email, to which I did send a reply.

"I don't respond to attempted feedback blackmail, your emails have been passed to ebay for possible further action, in the meantime my offer of considering refunding your return postage after receiving the goods back has now been withdrawn due to your threats.

All my T+C's meet all UK requirements, something you agreed to honor on purchasing the goods initially"

I would have preferred tokeep it a simple "F Off", but I am in a chilled mood, even a neg will still leave me at over 99.5%.

Listing on new seller ids has been muted for a while now, lots of hassle but premium sellers gain from enhanced listings...at least till eBay shut the door.

You know its not all plain sailing in the real world either - yesterday guy comes in and said we sold his son a pre-owned game. Yep thats right he got it from the pre-owned shelf. He then, and this is great, said but he didnt know it was pre-owned. So i did point out the big round "PRE-OWNED GAME" sticker on the case. Oh well he didnt know what that meant.

See some people in my opinion should not be allowed out as they just are just idiots, cant abide idiots. But what can we do?

Ebay - All i see on here is neg towards Ebay especially the new system (buyer can no longer leave neg feedback seems to be the best one) so LEAVE - Ebay is full of morons with nothing better to do then sit there all day with their credit card and complain if an item is not delivered within 2 hours of purchase. Sellers are making alot of money on Ebay.....ok some are but since the new system has come in sales have fallen through the floor (nothing to do with economic situation). If its that bad move away from it.
Forums (not just here) are filling up with people complaining about Ebay and how its hurting their business, well if they spent more time on researching other ways to sell their stock instead of complaining about Ebay they could shut up Ebay shop and sell to the norms......well kind of norms.

PS. To help save hassles on postage why not only give the recorded delivery option?

So looking at the above link, has me a thinking......

If I set up a new ebay account, then any items I list will be at the top of any listing, as I will have amazing feedback! mmmmm me thinks, is this the way forward, play eBay at their own game?
