Did you list your item as new? If so I can see where she may come from, it's easy to just click buy without reading and wehen you read "new" you expect something to be packaged - not loose. When I used to list similar items I would list them as "Used - Like New" and state in the listing brand new but non retail packaged and it didn't seem to have a negative impact on my sales at all.

It would be even harder if the account is in your cat's name!

I must stress again amazon is NOT ebay and you can not get away with anything but perfect customer services or being a bedroom seller. When you do it right the rewards are there in much higher margins and high quality sales/customers.

I suspect I know who you sourced the iTrips from and I know who originally supplied them. I am afraid to say they are NOT brand new, but used.returns (hence no packaging).
Amen to that. We got nearly 500 feedback at 97% (bloody good for Amazon I reckon) and we've had 1 30 day total ban and 1 30 day withold of funds since we started on Amazon in February.

We've had negative feedback for things like.

"didn't do what I thought it did"

1 out of 5 this one

"arrived 1 day after Amazon estimate"

"doesn't support SDHC"
on a product that doesn't even claim to support SDHC

keeping good feedback on Amazon is seriously hard.

You must sell to some techy geeks In my experience it's only these people who leave feedback. Joe Blogs living in suburbia don't even know there is a feedback system (we don't remind them either ).

We currently get about 1 feedback per 30 - 50 odd sales.

I reckon one feedback to 20-30 is more accurate for us

Price wars on Amazon have been pissing me off massively of late as it goes. Although often prices are better you do get the problem of several sellers fighting over one listing, taking penny snipes off each other until the price is killed. Usually the buy box holds up but ocassionally you get a monkey who kills the buy box too.

Thats when we stop off a product and find something else. Of course the best money is in our OEM products on our own EAN. Just wish we had about 50 more of them and I'd be a very happy bunny.
