I have been selling on ebay UK for years and years, but for the first time I got a listing pulled. Only a tiny percentage of my stock is this brand and so I am happy not to relist (just as well), however it IS a fully licenced product. I was wondering if it is worth the hassle to clear my name by contacting the company or ebay saying how it is a legit product, or just not bother as it won't get rid of my 'warning' anyway, or will it?

You can't get rid of that warning message.

But what you can do is - you can contact eBay and ask for a reasoning behind this. Was it a VERO case or something else? This would help you to prevent same mistakes in the future.

Their notification stated an email address for the branded company and so I am thinking it was actually the company who wanted it pulled as opposed to another seller.

Basically, it is no skin off my nose not to sell that line on ebay and so if I can't get rid of the warning then I'll prob just leave it at that. Cheers.

So it was a VERO.

There's really nothing you can do about it, just don't sell their stuff anymore.

Thanks Andy, I just needed to clear it up in my head. Will move on. Less that 1% of what I sell is branded and since ebay is still my main source of income I don't think I'll be listing them any more!
