What's it got to do with being a powerseller? Only about 5% actually qualify for a discount anyway (we don't at the moment and may never!).

If you think PowerSellers are getting preferential treatment, simply become one yourself. It's not hard! The minimum criteria is a poxy £750 a month or 100 items.

Then why should you be rewarded with a discount? You answered you own question!

I think you are living in the wrong world.

Some people think that online auctions should be for free and a human right.

What question? I didnt ask one.

I dont want to be rewarded with a discount, my original point remains from the pevious post, the egay changes means powersellers have it better while its still the same old crap egay if not worse for everyone else. This does not just include if you get a discount or not.

Put really simply if google has a better feedback system and lower fees, egay will be shot down. You are thinking far too much from egays perspective. Yes they are an organisation and yes they are there to make a profit. But if they want to keep making a profit they need to keep their customers happy, which they are not doing hence all the hype around google right now and anti egay propaganda......................

Try to not include everyone in your pre-allocated character references. I am not interested in becoming a powerseller and selling PS3s for free or whatever.

Could not agree more us sellers are going to be held for ransom over feedback.

If you don't want a discount what the hell are waffling on about?

Why shouldn't powersellers be rewarded for spending 1000's every month and (mostly) offering a higher level of service (by that I mean full time businesses not bedroom sellers)? Isn't this the same in any the majority of other businesses/industries? So some one spending £500a year deserves the same discount as someone lining ebays pockets with 30K a year? Get real! If you can grasp this basic principle of business then I am not quite sure why you on this forum?

As for eBay getting worse. It's not perfect (then again a lot of things in this world aren't either) but it serves a purpose by putting your proposition in front of millions of people and at a very low relational cost.

Your posts are just the typical 'I hate ebay (egay in you case)' but you have not posted anything to back it up other than moan, moan, moan.

So if you were put in charge of ebay (god forbid they'd be skint in a week with your attitude) what would you change?

This one I don't agree with and is probably the worst decision. However I can understand why they have done it. What's the point moaning about it as it won't change! I'd rather just get on with my business and if it causes problems in the future I will address it then.

Where would you be without eBay?

They have made thousands of people money they would never have had any other way. I don't sell there, I don't like doing business there, but I do realize they have a great operation. There is nothing that comes close.

It's their business. Use it or don't. Accept their rules or move on.

I don't like Micorsoft, but I use their products. I do not like the way they force their produicts on people, but I still use the because they are practically the only game in town.

Same with Intuit. I do not like they way they operate, but QuickBooks does the job for me. So, I suck up and use it.

But, I can make a living without ebay, so I do. And I don't get caught up in the butt kissing that has to be done on all sides.

Take it or leave it, it's your choice.

Well put Pete.

There are two people in this world. Those who moan about it and those who get on with it.

My life is stressful enough putting food in my son's mouth without worrying about other people's commercial decisions.
