New Auction site Mod Edit: Link Removed seems to have the lowest fees. Not many users, but more people need to sign up. Visit and sign up, this one should be a winner.

eBid's better. I made a little blog about it because not many people know about it. Its not a referral site, just puts down facts for you too compare on eBay.

www.ebidnow.blog.com. Please take a look and make up your own mind.

ebid sucks IMO...Even the most popular items fail to sell there. I'm not seeing what the fuss is about.

I agree, and by setting yourself up on eBid now, then you are ready.

Crawled from 250'000 worldwide listings to over 1.5 million in the month that eBay decided that they would roll out their ridiculous changes...

Default don't touch ebid with a barge pole

Hi

EBID - totally a no go area

I unfortunately got scammed by one of their sellers.
Ebid did not want to know. Even when the police got involved.

Ok, let this be a lesson learnt by me (the hard way of course), nevertheless, wouldn't want anyone else to throw away their hard earned cash.

But how many times have people been scammed on eBay? or other websites? Would this then keep you away from other website / ebay as well!?

How many people have had their house broken into? Does this mean you never leave home?

Just because one seller is bad, does not mean its all bad.

The same way - just because I have issues with eBay, does not mean that others can't make good money on their.

in reply .........

I simply would like to warn others.
Yes, dead right, everyone is getting scammed left right and centre.

With Ebay at least if you go through the preferred payment methods, then you are covered.

I went through the preferred payment methods with ebid and look what happened. Absolutely nothing. Ebid just didn't want to know. They have no back up for anything that happens like this. The police were amazed how such a business is still running.

Again, I agree it was my own fault for not looking into the seller more carefully.

I wouldn't touch them with a barbe pole. This has nothing to do with the other sellers (other than the Jack A** that ripped me off) but with the company on a whole. They just didn't want to know and have no back up for any such occurances which may happen again. so BEWARE.

Go ahead and continue to be a favorite of ebid. Just hope it never happens to you.
