I am looking to purchase an eBay account as mine has been closed for being linked to a suspended account; the account it was linked to was a colleagues (as I use my work PC) & was fairly new. I have tried emailing eBay & I have forwarded some ID & proof of address but with no luck. I built up my account from scratch 6 years ago & had over a 1000 feeback on it.

Does anyone know how I can go about purchasing a new account or re-instating mine?

Thank you in advance.

Contact eBay and they should provide you with a list of information/ identification they require and an address to send it to. Do that and they should re-instate your account, or at least review it.

Note: I used should a couple of times.

As for buying/ selling accounts, its against eBay's TOS and in the long-run I personally don't think its a good idea!

I have been told I am suspended for 12 moths as I have been linked to a suspended account but I still went ahead & faxed over my work details & ID to prove the suspended account wasn’t mine, I assume they have suspended all account linked to my work IP address.

If someone can help please contact me.

Thank you.

Can you please ensure you only use the forums default font and formatting.

You've already been warned once tonight!

I wouldn't recommend buying an ebay account (although it can be done) because ebay can easily trace it back to you - when confirming your address in your new paypal account for instance or if they did not find out straight away and then found out, you could have a lot of money locked into your paypal account. I know this to happen to a few people.

I don't think many people would be willing to sell you an account on here but sites like http://www.lobbay.com/ sell them with prices starting from £50. But i suggest you don't keep much money in your paypal account and don't try linking your new account with your old paypal account as you will automatically get suspended.

Hi, have you ever used them or know anyone who has? I may be interested in their offer, as I've been suspended for over 2 years now.
