Default Simple Question

Probably been asked countless times before but...

Does anyone here actually make £500+ a week trading on Ebay.
I ask this for a couple of reasons:
1) I'm at a crossroads in my life (enters "The Good Life" mode) where I've been made redundant from my reasonably paid I.T. job and really I am fed up with the rat race lifestyle and working for others. Like a lot of people I'd liike to work for myself. I don't mind hard work and lomg hours but I'd like to be doing that for me and my family not for some faceless corporation.
2) If it's not possible to earn the £500ish a week that I need then I'd concentrate on other areas of the buying/selling business.
thanks in advance for any response,
rgds,
Anthony

There are plenty of people on here who make that kind of money from eBay each week.

you can make that in a day or two with the right products if you have the time to commit for packing ect.

Don't be.

You'd be stupid not to ask for advice as and when you need it, this is what the forum is here for.

I've spent the last couple of weeks trying to decide that
Initially started with the idea of retailig consumer electronics but have been well and truly advised against that.Shame a I do have access to very good priced customer returns from a major high street electricl retailer. Got two pallets of stuff to get rid of. Thinking of going down the wholesale line rather than retail. My head is buzzing at the moment. Hopefully I'll get there.
rergards,
Anthony

If I made less than £500 a week on ebay I wouldn't bother getting out of bed!

The point of me asking is I have to decide whether to give up looking for another job in I.T. to pursue my dream of working for myself. To do this I would need to earn at least £500 per week to cover my current commitments. I'm sure you can appreciate this is a major decision in my life so knowing it can be done is quite important
regards,
Anthony
