Trademe is our version of eBay, it doesn't use Paypal, sellers can place feedback and no foreign people can use it. Basically to me its everything I could want for my business, no dodgy buyers, no overseas competition, no Paypal disputes, huge traffic(compared to the size of our country) and theres some great bargins, the only issue is the fees are quite high. From what I've read about eBay I think eBay should be aiming to be more like Trademe and not Amazon.

I am fairly busy I suppose!
I am trying to get myself at the right side of the clock when I go to sleep.
Got to get an early night.
I end up working late and I really dont know where all the time goes and then it is 3am again.
I am having an early night tonight for sure. I have to be up at 7.30am to get my daughter ready and take her to school. I end up feeling tired mid morning because I only had 3 and a half hours sleep.
I think its the stress of setting up a new business.
I am packing eBay in soon and I wont be looking back.
There is so much involved in setting up a new business and I really dont have the experience. I have been looking at the insurance and the premises and the security and the website and health and safety regs, and marketing...
I could do with a little advice though.
Especially on the marketing. I did a course but there is no substitute for experience.

This forum is a great place to learn all aspects of online business. And the best part - you can always ASK any questions you have and get answers from more experienced people. Just don't rush all the process (a common mistake) - take it step by step!

Good luck

My small online store goes well now because my online store provider fastcommerce.com gives me a good search engine website and many customers can easily find me in big search engines such as google, yahoo, msn, aol.
