[TYLOLA]

I sold an item to a buyer & was given this address:

Richard O'Brien
Boscabell
Cashel, Tipperary
Ireland

I have e-mailed the buyer to aquire house number & postcode... He says there is no house number & postcode, no problem with previous deliveries.

I've tried to locate this address with Royal Mail & their site states "address cannot be found"... I thought everyone has a postcode?

TYLOLA, I don't think its a good idea posting your customers address on a public forum. I would suggest removing it.

Ireland isn't part of the UK so it wouldn't show on RM's website from what i'm aware they don't have postcodes their either.

yes, Southern Ireland doesnt use postcodes. Just make sure you include a contact number for the customer and yourself.

There is a new PostCode system for Ireland - PON Codes - at www.irishpostcodes.ie - also useable for testing on Garmin Nuvi 700 series satnavs

Take the customers address off your original post

When I was living in Ireland, always - ALWAYS got asked from people in UK or US:"Do you really don't have post codes?" Sure we have - Main Street in every town and the rest you can ask Pam in pub after the post office.

It's great that they finally starting to introduce post code system.
