Default New product

Hi all,

Is it possible to make a success by selling a product that's not at all available on eBay - UK? This product is available in the states tho.
Maybe there's no demand for it. Perhaps I can create demand...

Well, yes is it possible. Perhaps you could test the waters and sell a few at a time.

I had a similar problem with a high end item a while ago. If the item is fairly cheap i would say it is defo worth a punt if you THINK the item is good and would be of us to people.

Sure it's worth a test at least - get one, list it and see how many visitors, watchers, buyers you get.

If all goes well, get more stuff, rinse & repeat! That's how it works

But I really doubt you'll be able to create demand though...

Unless its a product specific to americans, i would have thought that there would be similar demand (in proportion) over here

Well it's not region specific. It's a health product and there's only one distributor in the UK. But it seems they not really agressive in their marketing. I've emailed them so just awaiting feedback.
They have an online shop already, so selling on ebay might take away business for them. But will see!

Thanks for your input
