eBay also started from a small site, so most of sites have their chances to get to top, as well as to bottom.
I won't deny the fact i'm from an online auction company - from GlobalBidders.com, and won't advertise myself in here.
All i want to say here is that at the beginning all the sites/business are equal, and all depends on users, popularity grows from them.
I can say many words, just the best option for the great majority of any online sites is that you exchange your opinion with them. Users, visitors, customers - it's you who can change a company.

I've looked at ebid before and founf it to be full of fakes, jeans, tshirts, handbags........etc, don't think i'd buy anything from there
