Iv looked at swoopo before and it seems you would have to wait...................................hours for the auction to end because people always bid in the last second, even if you see the ending soon auctions

Maybe! But looking at half the sites it would just become one big shambles. I think every1 needs to face the facts that ebay is and will be the biggest. I aint bigging it up but there has been plenty to rival ebags but the rivals just are rubbish at getting the name out there and keeping the scammers out! Ebay is pretty safe (most of the time)! But ebid could be big if it wanted but £100 to sell online...urm no thanks! And full of fakes!!!

come on rob, im sure if they did all (not even all of them 3 of the top ones) pull together they could come up with some thing half as good as ebay easy,

feebay wont stay number one forever change will come, these other auctions sites which are still active, are cutting the steps too higher ground, alot have fallen so these ones which are still standing are doing some thing right and we should take note on that, hopfully they will make the right changes to their layouts and make it more simple and eye catching, and have some guy selling is a$$ cheeks for advertising space oh want thats what feebay did,

as for feebay being safe,. no chance its not safe it will never be safe nothing ever is, at the end of the day if your paying by Card anywhere online your covered,

as for fakes, feebay love it all them fees you can find 1000s of fake items on feebay right now if you wanted to,

and for the 100£ on ebid, i dont know abouts ebids fee faqs but feebay is named accordingly becuase of their high fees, for small sellers that 100£ is nothing for the year,

i think ebid will be one of the under dogs to get a bigger %

but on a kinda off note, i rekon feebay will do it self in, like other people i believe feebay want more of the main brands selling thru feebay system and the lil sellers will get kicked out some way or other,

just look at littlewoods clearance thats what feebay is aiming for

You took it all wrong, what im saying is the others have been and gone but who are they? Where DID they advertise? Why they not telling people every corner of the globe they are HERE! They have no chance if not getting word of mouth about. Little adverts on other sites wont cut it if they are to be a rival to ebay. Im all for a bigger, better auction site that wont rip people off with fees but i just cant see it anytime soon.

If anyone can challenge them it would be if Google set up some sort of Auction site, if they put a link in google searches to this site then they could compete, and even then it would be difficult. And thats if Google would even want to anyway, which i doubt they do, ebay make peanuts compared to Google, so why would google risk their reputation competing over small change.

Unfortunately no other site could get anywhere near Ebay, its just too well established.
