Once again...I have several problems with my country...That doesn't mean I'm gonna leave it, because some A-HOLES are running it into the dirt! I am gonna stay, and fight to make it better...Nobody understands the evil that is eBay, until they get butt hurt by them! I never seen one seller come here after losing everything they worked for due to eBay's politics and bull-ish, and go... Ya know...Ebay really screwed me, but they're still a great company. I just got the shaft by accident...OH well, I'll just pack my things, and go back to McDonald's...Flipping burgers and fries will be enough to put the kids through collage....

Love them or hate them ebay are a private company and you have no control over how they run what so ever.

There are people who talk about problems and there are people who are used to solve them. It seems that you're in the first group.
Just trying to help you out - if you say you have 3 incidents with European buyers, don't sell to Europe. Or don't sell to German buyers. And this one:
Block buyers who: - Have received 2 Unpaid item Strike(s) within 1 month(s)
- Have a feedback score equal to or lower than -1
- Have a feedback score of 5 or lower and no credit card on file
Are you even using eBay's blocking features? If yes, good for you. I just know many sellers who are not even aware of many features eBay offers but at the very first opportunity will find a reason to bash it.

ebay/paypal legal?

Overall eBay is a big ripof joint with PayPal, they charge you too much and they are not worth using because even if your item doesn't sell or it gets spamed or the buyer decides not to pay, then they still take the insertation fee and uppss I almost forgot that you can't do anything to the non paying bidder because they have disabled negative feedback so the bidder won't give a dam.

I agree with this i trade items i can't sell elsewhere on ebay and since the new feedback system i have had much more grief with customers as theyknow they have you over a barrel in terms of feedback not only does it affect the view of new potential customers about your business but also it pushes your listings down the rankings when people run searches if you have bad feedback.
Incientally is the fact that paypal is a subsdiary company of ebay and is being forced on sellers as a payment option entirely legal, how would consumers feel if Tesco's or Asdas decided to launch a card that you had to use when shopping and charged you every time you used it?

I've said exactly the same thing in older threads. The government should step in. Forcing paypal as the only payment method is an abuse of their power.

I agree, it would be abuse of goverment power.
It's a free market and people have choices. If they want to sell on ebay they use Paypal. If they don't want to use Paypal then go else where.
