Ebay has lost the plot
In the past few weeks ive put up 3 items for auction.
Item 1 was bought by a german user, who was no longer registered after the auction had finished
Item 2 was bought by a german user, suprise suprise, no longer registered within a few hours of auction ending
My third item has just sold, Ive looked at the fellas details. A bidder from Spain. I will put money on a certain outcome.
Ive lost all faith in ebay. EBAY are still making money from my insertion fee, EBAY are still not doing enough to protect sellers from dodgy accounts, EBAY I dont believe, will do anything about the problem, becasue they still will make money, untill EVERYONE stops using the website
Im p***ed of to the max

Your not the first and definately not the last.
Aslong as Ebay are making money from Listing Fee's and Paypal they won't care about the ones that have a terrible experience buying and selling on Ebay.
There is one solution which is to start your own personal site and sell from there.

I agree with you davewelch00. eBay is a whole lot of BS. Their negative & positive feedback system is BS too now, because they have taken away the ability to give negative feedback to your buyers which is very unfair as some buyers are terrible and they are using this fact to get sellers pissed of because they know they won't recieve negative feedback. eBay used to be a good market place but now there's too much competition from sellers who either sell for sometime and then they move on because they found out that they were losing money on eBay or from fake/false sellers. eBay is only good for buying quality products for cheap. Overall eBay is a big ripof joint with PayPal, they charge you too much and they are not worth using because even if your item doesn't sell or it gets spamed or the buyer decides not to pay, then they still take the insertation fee and uppss I almost forgot that you can't do anything to the non paying bidder because they have disabled negative feedback so the bidder won't give a dam.

Ah here we go. Im sorry but if yu hate ebay so much, just don't use it!
Ebay have introduced feedback revision which is new, which allows buyers who have left negative or neutral feedback to change their minds after you have resolved the problem. So you negative feedback with 1 star DSRs can be changed to Postiive (with different comment) and 5 stars (if your lucky). It used to be a mutual feedback withdrawl which meant the negative score was removed but buyers still got to see the comment left.

Same old story...
Sorry to hear about your accidents though! But as uhafmail pointed out - why not just sell to UK buyers only?

The best way I have found to stop this is to blocke certain bidders from bidding. I have me ebay account set up so that it:-
Block buyers who: - Have received 2 Unpaid item Strike(s) within 1 month(s)
- Have a feedback score equal to or lower than -1
- Have a feedback score of 5 or lower and no credit card on file

I was gonna say the same thing, but also exclude buyers who do not have paypal. That's the killer. I had problems with jealous sellers screwing with my iphone auctions. I also require immediate payment with BIN as well. That will put a end to the BS buyers most of the time. Hope this helps.

I don't even do auction style listings anymore because of this problem. It's Buy it Now and payment required at checkout. Now that eBay has changed the feedback system it is no big deal to buyers if they pay you or not. You can't leave them negative feedback. You can file a unpaid item dispute against them but hell most sellers don't know how to do that or don't take the time to do it.
Anthony and those that get tired of us bashing eBay you tell us we don't have to sell on eBay and if we don't like eBay to just leave. Well if you don't like reading post that bash eBay then don't read them! It works both ways!
