Is have signed up to an affiliate program for a product that teaches u how to sell on ebay and making money online.

Would including ebay in the domain name be a bad idea, legal probs etc ?

something like www.ebay-(anotherwordhere).com

Thanks,

Chedder

Never the less, you'll find sites such as thebay.net, bebay.net, babebay.com and acebay.com which have gotten away with it.

They won't get away with it if they put up an eBay related site. They will get away with it if the site is about something completely different.

i owned the name wickedtgp.com once! i tried sellin it on a very popular adult forum! and oh my god! what a bunch of anal folk they are! lol

they kept on going on about Wicked Pictures owning the word "wicked (anything).com! personaly i think they where jealous and tried to devalue the name!

i was like "yeah whatever" it was really annoying as i was getting quit a few intrested people and i think it was going to sell for $1k+ anyway, to cut a long story short i sold it for $200 after alot of bump posts and new threads i finally sold it!

$8.88 = $200! not bad i suppose! could have been alot better!

tony

Thats a good name, I am surprised you only got $200

Still a good profit ratio, well done.
