Default Is it worth buying Wii Fit's off ebay?

Hello Guys,

I was thinking of an idea that I had. Is it worth buying a few wii fits off ebay to resell when everywhere has run out?

The demand for them is high at the moment and re-selling them when everywhere is out of stock could make a good profit?

Any advice?

it is a bit risky because how can you be sure places will go out of stock. in my opinion if there was a shortage it would have happened before now!

from expeince my friend, ive had 2 wii bundles which had a wii fit with it for over 2 months and ive only just yestaray sold 1... yep 1 and that was becuase i said to the buyer buy from me cash on colleciton without pressing buy it now etc and you can have it for £315 so we bartered and got it down to £305 and she only lived 20 misn away over the hill.

so thank god that 1 is now sold.

to buy from ebay to sell on is REALLY risky mate,

Wii fit snd balance board are fairly easily available in France if you feel like an awayday. Planet saturn and FNAC have good supplies.they are 89 - 90 euros. Pal EU version.

Oops ! I was thinking about a quick car trip and you can bring some duty free booze at the same time , anyway there is no import tax between the EU.

Buying off of ebay to sell on at a later date is a no go. I think there will again be a shortage but it will be after chrsitmas when the kids have money to spend. But you cant pay more than £80 including postage to even consider buying unless you have buyers lined up.

I wouldnt buy off of eBay to resell either. As someone said above - the ship has sailed. You can still go into a store and find Wii-Fits anyways. If not, stores are still getting weekly deliveries so you can be put onto a waiting list.

I purchased 11 Wii-Fits back in October - mainly from Game stores at £69.99 each. Ive finally sold them all through eBay at £100 each, with an extra £16.99 for ParcelForce delivery. Once you take off the fees etc, you dont make a huge amount. Out of the 11 units I only made about £200.

Nevertheless, you can even buy them through eBay at around £70-80 - Thats if you can wait for an auction to end. The Buy-It-Now auctions are up to around £90-100 - but again, sales are slow since they arent really as rare as the Wii was last year. People have learnt to purchase early, and others have purchased many units to resell.

Therefore, not really a bandwagon to jump on at the moment Im afraid.
