Gumtree
Does anyone use it?
It's quite good really, free advertising, as long as you don't have your site on the title. I'm listing items all over the place.

Re: Gumtree
Yeh its quite good. However, there are so many scammers on there! It's unbelievable. I once enquired about an mobile phone (he claimed to be in London) and when it came to payment, he asked me to send half the money to a Nigerian account and another to a Senegal account!!
Then everything which proved he was a true scammer came out (No UK address, mobile number, any details)

Re: Gumtree
I'm not a buyer so don't notice scammers. Loads I'm sure, there every where. The amount of emails i get just since November from scammers is mad, contact Western union for your money or such and such has died and wants you to have his millions, lol. Some poor person would fall for it.

Re: Gumtree
lol most of the people that use it are not educated either! Don't know proper English and ask you stupid questions. Getting rather fed up of Gumtree. Use Loot.com now

Re: Gumtree
If i remeber correctly, you can advertise on their website free for 7 days. They also have a newspaper which you have to pay to advertise in but i wouldn't really say it's worth it.
