Hi

I been doing some research on eBay and I don't know if I should go ahead or not. I currently have a Business Account and considering a eBay Shop

As I am selling most stock offline and In pallets in not selling much on eBay but from the 50/100 item I am my monthly eBay bill is coming to around £220.

Correct me if I am wrong, opening a shop means fees are lower for me and Final Value Fees?

What are the advantages and disadvantages for me as a Business Seller, lower fees? more of a better image as a shop?

Thanks
Darshan

Listing fee's are half with a basic shop, at least they are for me, however I sell only media products and may be different for each area.

A shop increases your chance of cross promoting your items as well. My sales increased when a opened mine. I'd try it out for a month and see if its for you. It may even be free for the first month.

Thanks 'Tunes' I might try it out for a month. I know that pricing for media items are different to computing & technology. Thanks Darshan

Theres been alot of different views on a ebay shop. I imagine people who dont really have much positives on a shop are people who expect it to do everything for them, when really you still have to put the work in. If you are selling pallets worth of gear then its probably worth while for you.
