Im thinkin about selling Xbox live microsoft points on ebay.

Can i sell these on ebay?
Can i scan the codes and email to my ebay customers?
Can someone on ebay scam me by saying that the code doesnt work(the code will 100% work) and put a claim in with paypal? how can i stop this from happening?

Points are worth selling, memberships (esp 1 month) stay away as there are people selling making all of 20p profit!!

You can email, however make it clear in the listing you will be posting (do not say email only or it will get pulled), then email, most customers will be happy with this

If you get a PayPal claim, post via recorded to the address shown in the PP invoice page, give them the tracking ID and you will be covered, you may lose your profit, but better than losing £20-£30, that said though, if you get too many claims PP will limit your account at the drop of a hat!!

To be honest with you, the number of people selling these on eBay has risen so fast, that their isn't any profit to be made. I know it's like this with mostly all items but, with points and memberships, profits are too low.

Tried this myself for a few months but profit was minimal so I would advise you NOT to sell these trying to make a decent profit

It actually all depends on how much you want to make.
You can make a few pound profit on each,with profit rising depending on the 'size' of the membership (e.g more for 12 month) so you would need to sell a lot to achieve any goal you want to get.

XBOX Live Points give better profit, but you will be competing with people who are buying vast quantities.

You really want to find a niche market if you are new to ebay.

Remember eBay fees too....
