Best way of selling online
Well im a uni student and in order to make a few extra cash i've looked in to dropshipping due to the lack of capital i have to play with. im only looking to make £100-£150 a month to start with as i still will have a part time job.
i have found a few decent dropshippers, just wondering would the best pay for someone like me to sell be via an online shop or ebay or something similar?
I've been looking in to getting my own website and add a shopping cart feature. but im not too sure as i had a website before and its very difficult to get traffic and once you get traffic its difficult to make sales.
Do you advise i get an online shop or stick with ebay which has very poor profit margins? also how much is the average cost behind setting up a shopping cart feature on a website?
all help will be appreciated.
thanx

Both. You can initially sell via Ebay until you start getting enough traffic to your site but I'd definitely recommend you do both.

You can get oscommerce.com there is free for the basic setup, and if you know abit about .php then you should be ok moding it yourself.
If not there are a couple of offers in the forsale section that can do you a professional site, check them out for pricing etc

www.betterwebspace.co.uk are good and some recommend them
To start with you can get their basic package and build from there!, its minimal cost to upgrade to a more capacity account.

Cant see a problem with it really, but you'd have to work on which keywords you want to use to attract customers to your site, Its hard work as it is to do things like that for one range of products and get search engines to find you...........
What you could do is have 2 + websites and link them all together with links on the home pages to each other, then concentrate on one sites main keywords and then move onto the next one............so you will build a mini empire of sites!!
If you speak to the guys at betterwebspace they can tell you how they can arrange the different IP's you would need to do this as if they are all on the same IP then SE's will think bad of it if they are linked together from 1 IP. Correct me if Im wrong anybody on this one.....
