Hi, i have recently started to sell xbox live codes on ebay. I send the codes to the customers via email.

1 buyer has said that there code didn't work so i called microsoft and gave them the code, they told me it had been used the same day that person complained to me. So then i obviously thought that this person is trying to get another code out of me. They have also opened a dispute. If they gave me their gamertag i would know for sure if that buyer had used the code i had sold to him. So i asked for the gamertag, he gave me a non-existing gamertag.

Has anyone else had a problem like this.

Thats why you should always send a copy through the post, so you have proof of delivery.

Just to let you know sending goods via email breaks ebay's rule. Ebay's (co.uk site) policy does not allow any digitally delviered goods, instead any products must be sent via post. Some users get away with sending via email, however doing so risks your ebay account.

Just write the code on a piece of paper and post it using recorded delivery. Don't tell your buyer you are doing this, send it in a brown envelope so it looks important and he will sign for it.

Then just enter the tracking number into paypal stating you have sent the item, its been delivered and Microsoft have told you that the code was redeemed the very same day that the buyer received the item and complained.

See, the problem here is your buyer may know that ebay has a digitally delivered goods policy, and can use this against you.
You may have proof that you emailed it, yet that wont mean anything to ebay as you are in violation of their rules.
Many people have tried a few ways to get a round this, but I think your safest option would be to do as YNWA said - send it in the post as proof that it has been delivered physically.

Good luck, and I hope it works out for you!
