That's not the issue then. Sometimes, especially with this product, you need to be patient. The people madly undercutting will get the sales for a while but will quickly run out of stock and stop selling as they made next to nothing on them. If you just work on your listing and slowly make sales and build up your feedback people will start to notice and give you a try. I think these codes are the sort of product to sell along side
other things as they are great for feedback buildup/powerseller targets but will not make you that much profit wise.

Alot of sellers are using featured first and classified add. Not come across the classified add used this way before, it may be a money spinner.

I just had a quick look at your listings. I'm guessing you send the codes via email? If so have you had any problems with ebay noticing your feedback, guessing you send via email, and then being reported for breaking their digital delivered goods policy?

Codes are very hard to sell at reasonable prices on ebay (especially the 1 month codes). Why not look to creating your own website, which can be automated saving time and money by cutting out any ebay fee's.

As soon as I sell one I email the winner and ask them through ebay how they want the code sent, every single one of them says by email. I then ask them if they want confirmation of the code sent in the post and 9 times out of 10 they say don't worry.
If Ebay decide it's against their rules then fair enough. I'm sticking with my price as i'm done with undercutting on these items.

I've thought about setting up a site but it's not really the product i'm focused on and i'm not sure how successful it would be. Plus I have no idea how you would automate a reply with a different code each time!!

@WD Trading
I hope you do not think I was complaining the way send your codes. I have no problem with it, I was just interested in seeing if you get around ebay's policy. Seeing yourself as a successful ebayer seller, sending codes via email, I just wanted to know if you had any problems. So myself and others could learn if it was still possible to send via email and not have ebay complaining, or removing your listings.

By the way the last paragraph was for jedi, to try and help him. It wasn't aimed at yourself, my fault I should for been clearer. I was just trying to give him another idea since it wasn't working all that well on ebay for him.

I think you need to consider the "Best Match" part of eBay as well, as this is the default search criteria for buyers it's very important to get your title right, take a look at listings which appear before yours in search results (excluding featured items) and see if you can adjust your title to try boost yourself up the listings. I think another part of Best Match is recent purchase history, I've found then when I first put listings up it takes a few days to get any sales (I list 30days) - Once sales start coming in you will move up the search results which will in effect give you more sales. I haven't been in this business for long but this is just something I've tried and tested that works.

I was also thining about getting into the selling of cards and I do think a website is the way forward. What is appealing to me is due to the fact they can be sent digitally the sales side of things could be pretty much automated if setup correctly.

I dont know how you would automate it though. There needs to be a different code on each email.
What could do this for me?
