When you become self employed you'll be required to fill out an SA (self assessment) form, pay NI contributions and any tax.

Best to keep records now, you'll get into the habit of keeping them, then you won't forget when you do decide to give up the day job

For example:

Lets take your Sale Price column,

If you want to know the total sale price of all of the items you've sold you would enter the following formula:

=SUM(C3:C20)

I would put that in cell C21

C21 then would give you a total of all of the prices listed in cells C3 to C20.

Sorry got it wrong first time, I was totalling rows instead of column c doh

Oh right, I know what you mean now, but just tried it and all that came up was 0,
all I did was copy it into cell C21 pressed enter and that what happened,

But at lest your getting me on the right track and I thanks you for thatI didn't even know you could do that i would of been sat here with a calculator.

Have you entered any figures into the column yet? If not that's why

I'll PM you

Can't do that for some reason you've reached 10 posts but still cannot PM you. Could you attach it to this thread and we can have a look?
