Unhappy Ebay listing removed

I had a listing removed when I created a custom ebay template and updated my info to help the seller, or so I thought, this is ebay's reason for removing

Why did we remove your listing?

Your listing(s) contains the following information:

'please remember we are here to help, contact us for a quick response'

I have emailed ebay and got the usual generic copy&paste response, emailed them back saying that I cannot see how offering to make the buying better for the ebay member could be against the t's&c's of ebay , madness

there was no email link in the template so the buyer only had the option of through the 'contact seller link'

any one else had listings removed for this?

That's stupid really, on our ebay listings we have "If you have any questions, queries, comments or complaints, we'll be glad to help you!" and then we have our phone numbers on there but I haven't wrote 'Contact Us'.... myabe that's the key?

Although whats really bugging my is like you said, by providing a better buying experience how can ebay say that's against the rules?

It annoys me more that they are non responsive to emails, I can understand some of the conditions of ebay with fake goods etc but there doesn't seem to be any reason for the removal when your dsr's are reliant on offering the best buyer experience then penalise you for it .

Had listings removed for the same thing last year, after a lot of emails to them did get a proper reply they said it was encouraging off ebay sales.
They said it should read contact me through ebay messaging system have that on my listings since no problems. Bloody stupid really but as has been said thats ebay for you

That's what I thought, encouraging sales away from the ebay platform, change it to something like what I have "If you have any questions, queries, comments or complaints, we'll be glad to help you!"

yeah this is eBay and they have their own laws.

did you manage to get it sorted out then? If you keep getting generic copy paste replies from them then you could try there Live chat thing that they offer, might be abit more help but never know with ebay hey.

Same old eBay. Didn't they start introducing the teleohone Helpline to 'selected' members?

Yep they did, I had a email saying I was a selected member and I've used the number a new times, its sooo much better than emailing their 'computers'
