Noob listing question - using a black background....
I've just been trying to create some slightly better looking listings and I want the listing to appear on a black background. I created a template in an html editor with a black background and white text, but when I copied and pasted the html into the ebay listings editor, it automatically reversed the colour scheme to a white background with black text, and it put the ebay generated image pic slap in the middle of the listing (on top of some other external gifs I was pulling in from my server). Is there a simple trick I'm missing to enable me to change the background colour of a listing and to stop ebay from getting confused about where my listing ends? Should have said, I'm signed up to auctiva which auto inserts bits and pieces- could this be meddling with my listing preferences (obviously I'm not attempting to use an auctiva template on this occasion though).
Many thanks in advance for any tips.
