It might just be me i don't know but i've been a seller on ebay for about 4 - 5 years and all off sudden in the last few weeks i've had about 15 of my items won by people and then i get an email along the lines of,

'Sorry, my mate bid on this without me knowing,'
'sorry my nans give me one,'
'sorry my little daughter was bidding without me knowing'

... whats going on!! i've probably lost around £300 worth of sales in the last few weeks because of this is it just bad luck or what?

Anyone else had similiar problems?

p.s

Sorry for whinging lol

I think that buyers remorse will continue to rise as the recession worsens

Start worrying when tracy chapman starts singing.....No only joking-

It sounds like competitors- Buying yours so only theirs are listed at that point-

Could just be credit crunch though

Im not sure cos people still seem to be buying at a steady pace through the credit crunch, i know it is set to get worse though....

We have had "i came home to find my wife had already bought me one" thats annoying.

As many of you know by now, I avoid eBay. But the first thing that popped in my mind was "competitors".

And the second was "IP".

I think I'd be chatting with the eBay folks to see if it's not someone playing games.

Possibly, check the feedback and also their bid history to see what they are bidding on. If they are constantly bidding on similar items from a number of Ebay logins you'll be able to see.
