I'm getting a bit irritated lately with people I've sold items to and they haven't left feedback, some are over a month or two now. I've got the mindset that, if they don't leave feedback, then I wont be leaving them any. I'm only 7 away from my next star, and there's 7 people who are still yet to leave me feedback

I've took it upon myself to start sending a message once I've sent the customer an item, with a little paragraph reminding them to leave feedback, I've also included when I set up a custom email confirmation the other day.

What techniques do you use to ensure someone remembers to leave the feedback?

I just have it set so it only leaves feedback once feedback has been received. I also have it set to remind people to leave feedback with a kind word saying due to the amount of transactions we deal with in any one day we have set ebay to leave feedback once it has been received from the buyer.

Also if you have bought something allwys leave feedback first as chances are they have also automated it or are awaiting for you to leave feedback

Include a note on the invoice reminding them to leave feedback.

I find Amazon worse than ebay for this.Any feedback I have had has been very positive on Amazon, however it takes constant reminding for clients to give feedback.

Leave feedback first and include a Thank You note (letter) with each package thanking them for the purchase and stating that you have already left positive feedback for them. Works like a charm for me :-)

Agree with Andy, I always leave feedback when they have paid and I dispatch, this way those that refuse to leave feedback without having received it first are happy, as well as the rest.

Why not leave it first? It's not as if you can leave a neg or neutral anymore, is it?

BTW, I receive 90% feedback within 1 week of receipt of goods, have faith in your service and clients. There will always be a few that never leave feedback.

You can send a feedback reminder in the email section bit.

Some good points. It slipped my mind that seller's can't even leave negative of neutral anymore, I still have around 8 items sent out that I haven't recieved feedback on. Maybe if I leave positive feedback on them all then it'll jog their memory to leave me feedback, and like said above, they may just be waiting for me to leave it first.

I have the custom email with a reminder to leave feedback, and I will start adding notes into every item I send.

Thanks for the tips guys!
