Easily purchased i'll agree with, but different skills levels really. Where as some are cheap for a "good job" other who do a real job are charging a lot of freelancing sites etc

I just honestly believe that with everybody knocking back the idea with eBay being the best and never unbeaten makes me feel like nobody would want to try 100% towards a real competitor to them, that's why I feel strong about this.

You wont be able to access your biggest market - eBay, so again not worth it.

It's not that people are not behind you (as we are ) But now you have changed to paypal. Which means you are going to take on Paypal, Google, Nochex, Worldpay, Streamline, Pay offline but to name a few.

We get the principal behind the idea but people make a living from ebay and so long as they do they will not move.

If you say look guys i going to invest £5,000,000 into this project to get an auction site off the ground then you will start to get backing but with so many websites trying to take on eBay and Paypal (and some like google with alot of cash behind them) you will just be another in the long list that tries and fails

Okay, since eBay added final value fee i've literally not been able to make money, it's ridiculous just looking for something to do in my spare time really.

Thanks.

Why not try some sort of fulfilment site ??? People can go on and post wanted for items they are struggling to find And you vet the sellers (wholesalers) to make sure people are not getting ripped off.

You charge a fee for people to post wanted ads and also generate revenue from ads on the website ???

Just a thought
