While I agree that the World Wide Web is just what it says, and sellers are able to sell wherever they can, what reallt pi...s me off is the number of sellers who list below the 99p mark so as to escape the fees then rack up the postage charges to unreasonable levels. Ebay seem to ignore this.

Thats a totally different topic - but buyers are aware of that tbh.

they won't be able to get away with that in certain categories soon, when everyone has to offer free postage. At least they will paying the same FVF as everyone else. Hopefully it will scare a few of them off.

Not to mention it rocks the boat on their DSR's under "postage and packaging charges".

I doubt free postage will help much, they will be able to charge for International Shipments.

When does this rule come into play?

We'll be on fire when that happens

Surely they will have to make international selllers on ebay uk do it as well. Otherwise it would be really unfair. We charge £16.99 and give free postage so we have to pay about 90p FVF. They charge £0.99 plus £16.00 postage and they pay about 5p FVF.
